One Layer Card
I wanted to play with my new scoring tool today, so I made this card. I am really pleased with how it turned out, it is simple and easy. I scored two boxes around the card to create a frame. I will definitely be playing with the use of scoring on my cards more! I cut the sentiment off of the owl image to make it more versatile. I can always line it up on the block with the owl image if I want to stamp them together. This is one of my favorite things about the new clear mount option for the stamp sets!
All supplies are Stampin' Up!
Stamp Sets: It's the Thought (hostess set) and Happy Moments (SAB set)
Papers: Kraft
Ink: Chocolate Chip and Riding Hood Red
Have a great day!

I find clean and simple cards really difficult to make and you've done such a great job here. I love the subtle effect that scoring achieves. May just have to CASE this!
ReplyDeleteLove this Christel! I love this little guy!
ReplyDeleteI love this kind of CAS card with scoring!
ReplyDeleteThis is too cute! And just my style...clean and simple!
ReplyDeleteThis is very "classy" with the scored lines! I love my ScorPal & my MS Scoretool - I have to admit, I don't do much of this, but am thinking I should as yours looks super mod!
ReplyDeleteTHis is awesome. I love it.
